I am currently going through a period in my life where I’m “Just trying to get my life together”, only I’d say I’ve been going through this period in my life for almost a decade now. I have done a lot of different things with my life in the pursuit of self improvement and personal development that it is now an art to me, and I on the quest to become a master. For no other reason except that all this time, I honestly have not accomplished much of anything. 3 Self Improvement Tips You Can begin using NOW
- I listen to inspirational podcasts. When I’m up but I’m not feeling quite motivated, I like to listen to podcasts that inspire me. In fact I have compiled a list of my favorite podcasts to listen to when I need inspiration and you can find that here.
- I read books that inspire me, especially books that suggest a strong call to action. There are so many books I have read that maybe you too may find inspirational. You can find a list of some of my favorite reads here.
- Downloading some good learning applications. I have three learning applications that I use, and I have learned everything from a new language, to how to do computer programming, and just about anything that you can pretty much think of. Feel free to send me an e-mail if you want to know what types of applications are the best to use, when learning something new.
Being a chronic procrastinator, I have found that taking baby steps work for me. I used to be afraid of looking foolish learning how to do things at my age, but I learned that you’re never too old to learn something new. You’re never too old to follow your dreams, no matter how foolish, and if you’re sincere you will mostly find a way. If motivation seems to be an issue for you try saying some affirmations.
