It is so hard to believe that it has been another week already! I was unable to get some of my other posts up this week: Quote of the Week or my weekly Chic Chat. However, I have decided despite that, I’d still go forward with my list of favorite things for this week. If you find my list helpful, or want to add to my recommendations, feel free to leave me a comment below!
This week my top favorite article comes from HelloGiggles.com on the best advice from Ava Duvernay. She is such an inspiration and I admire her work and work ethic. In this brief article, Ava drops an amazing gem making this read my favorite of the week.
Social media post:
This week my favorite post comes from Twitter! I figured since twitter happens to be my favorite social media, I would go with my top tweet for this week. To see which tweet made this list you can follow the link here! I picked this tweet because it’s motivational and embodies how I feel in this chapter of my life.
So, I have recently reconstructed my playlist, but I am not so sure I am ready to share my list yet. That’s why this week will go to my favorite video. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure I would nominate this video as my favorite, but it did spark a lot of controversy. Which is why I couldn’t pass the opportunity to add it to my list! **parental advisory in advance, this may not be your cup of tea. If not just skip over this section please***
You can watch the controversial Eminem cypher people could not stop talking about below:
This weeks favorite product goes to a t-shirt that donates 10% of all profits to a cause. October is such a fun month with Halloween, but it’s important to also not forget that it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness month. I love this product because it celebrates women who have triumphed over breast cancer. The campaign is only for a limited time with limited supply, however you can get yours Here.
I decided to feature a fiction read this week as my top favorite recommendation this week. Gregory Mcguire’s “Wicked” is an interestingly different twist on the classic Wizard of Oz. It’s no wonder it was adapted and used on broadway. It is a enjoyable page turner that will make you sad when it’s finished.
Until Next Week…
And that concludes yet another week of my personal Top Favorite things! If you haven’t already checked out some of my other posts. You can find the most popular blog posts on this page. Some of my favorite posts from the past weeks include:
